It’s been a mega busy few months at Fudge HQ, so we thought we’d pop a little update up here, so you nice people can find out about some of the cool stuff we’ve been up to.
You might have seen the post earlier in the week about Volcom – thanks for all the congratulations tweets and messages, it means a lot. Our first project with them is underway and will be going live in May. Watch this space.
In other (very exciting) news, we are busy kicking off some great projects for our new friends at Orange. We’ve always been big fans of their brand, so to be given the chance to work with them is a real honour. We wish we could tell you more about the work, but as is the way with these things, it’s all top secret for now!
As well as Orange and Volcom, the chaps in the studio are getting stuck into the new website for Pleasance Theatres. In case you aren’t familiar with them, they have two venues (in Edinburgh and Islington) that play host to comedians like Russell Brand, Eddie Izzard, Frank Skinner and Al Murray. The concept is beautiful, and we can’t wait to get the site out there for everyone to check out.
Talking of the studio, we’ve almost finished decorating the office. The best bit has to be the Idea Paint, which has turned the walls in our new board room into massive whiteboards. Second place goes to Phil’s amazing tea station on the second floor.
The team recently spent a full day with the brilliant Nigel Baker, aka the Agile Bear. It was great to get everyone together, and to get some of the newer members of the team up to speed with the Agile revolution! It went so well that a few more of us are getting trained up to become Certified ScrumMasters.
Seeing as those of you who joined us at the Christmas party seemed to have such a good time, we’re looking at having a BST Summer BBQ. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for a good venue in Manchester, give us a shout.
Think that’s everything for now, other than to say that Ben and Phil are starting to organise Board Meeting 2011 in Morzine, so keep an eye on Twitter, our site for Creative Islington went live last week, and we’re going to be speaking at the Sport and New Media event at Bridgewater Hall in April. If you are attending, come over and say hi.
The team at Fudge.
PS If you are a junior designer or front end developer and fancy joining the team, we’d love to hear from you.
